The main sites of interest in this area are:

A graded dirt road along the northern edge of this area provides access from the east and from the west. A graded dirt road branches off the main access road and continues to Eureka Dunes. An ungraded dirt road continues to the south of the dunes. It travels up Dedeckera Canyon, through Steel Pass, and on into Saline Valley. The Steel Pass Corridor is considered one of the rougher offroad trips in Death Valley and so don't try it unless you're properly equipped. |
