Last Chance Mountain is located near the northern boundary of Death Valley NP. Access to the general area is provided by graded roads. Big Pine Road comes into the area from the west and continues east to Scotty's Castle. There are quite a few abandoned mining sites in the area to visit including the Up and Down Mine and the Crater townsite. |
