The main sites of interest in this area are:

Lee Flat is located just north of Highway 190. To the north are Hunter Mountain and the Nelson Range. Located to the east is Panamint Valley and to the west are Malpais Mesa and Conglomerate Mesa. The Santa Rosa Range is included in this area although it is technically a separate area. Not only is Lee Flat home to a large Joshua tree forest, but cows can often be seen grazing in the area. There is also an interesting cabin and historic mine sites located in this area. |
