The main sites of interest
in this area are:
- Trail Canyon
- Death Valley Canyon
- Aguereberry Point
- Wildrose Peak
- Wood Canyon

Although a road goes right into Trail Canyon and provides easy access to a
couple sites of historic interest, it is also possible to hike into the
canyon from above. One choice is to hike down the north fork of Trail Canyon
from Aguereberry Road. Another choice is to hike into the canyon from the
top of Wood Canyon. Either route promises a steep return trip. In fact, the
first mile down this route drops 900 hundred feet. Also of
interest in the area is Death Valley Canyon located to the south. However,
Death Valley Canyon is best accessed from the road to the south that enters
Hanaupah Canyon.
