Road access to this area is pretty good. A graded dirt road enters the area from the north and continues to the south end of Racetrack Playa. Two ungraded dirt roads provide alternate entry and exit routes, but they are not recommended for use with vehicles that are not equipped to deal with rough conditions. A road heads south from Tea Kettle Junction to Hunter Mountain and another road drops into Saline Valley from the Lippincott Mine. |
